In 2000, he graduated from Kryvyi Rih Technical University with a degree in Automated Systems Software and qualified as a software engineer. In 2001, he obtained a Master’s degree in Computer Science. He began his professional career at Kryvyi Rih National University in 2000. In 2011, he defended his PhD thesis in Information and Communication Technologies in Education, and in 2015 he was awarded the academic title of Associate Professor. Since 2018, he has headed the Department of Modelling and Software, and in 2020 he was appointed Head of the Department following a competitive selection process.

Research Activities. His principal research interests include the professional training of future software engineers, software engineering, the design and application of information and communication technologies and cloud technologies in education, as well as distance, mobile and blended learning. From 2014 to 2017, he undertook doctoral studies at the Institute of Information Technologies and Learning Tools of the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine, where he investigated the theoretical and methodological foundations of mobile learning for future software engineers.

Since 2002, he has been involved in the development of educational software, including software tools for studying operating systems and demonstrating fundamental algorithms. He contributed to the development of the Agapa learning management system. He supervises the student research group “Information Technologies in Education”. He teaches courses related to software engineering, cloud computing, UNIX systems, discrete structures, systems analysis, and contemporary research methods in information systems.

Professional Recognition. He is a laureate of the President of Ukraine Prize for Young Scientists (2017) and the Kryvyi Rih Mayor’s Award for Gifted Children and Youth (2013). He has also received distinctions from the Executive Committee of the Kryvyi Rih City Council and the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine. In 2025, he received the “IT Education Ambassadors” distinction from EPAM Ukraine.

Scientific and Editorial Activities. He is a full member of the Ukrainian Scientific and Educational IT Society and the Academy of Cognitive and Natural Sciences. He also serves on the programme committees of international scientific conferences and workshops, including the Workshop for Young Scientists in Computer Science & Software Engineering, the International Conference on Mathematics, Science and Technology Education, and the International Conference on Sustainable Futures.
