Recreation and rehabilitation technologies in physical culture and sports: Ways of improving body functioning

Abstract

In this article, the authors explore a wide range of methods and strategies aimed at improving the functioning of the body. Various aspects of physical rehabilitation, physical recreation, therapeutic physical culture and approaches to preserving and improving health, physical form, and mental state of a person are analysed. The main emphasis is pointed on recreational and rehabilitation technologies, which include a variety of methods, exercises and procedures aimed at restoring the body's functions after injuries, diseases or operations, as well as maintaining and improving physical and mental well-being. Special attention is paid to an individual approach to each patient and the development of complex rehabilitation programs that take into account all the peculiarities of functioning in accordance with the International Classification of Functioning, Disability and Health (ICF), the existing nosology, and the personalized needs of each person. The study includes an analysis of current trends in physical culture and sports, an overview of physical rehabilitation methods, and highlighting innovative approaches to a healthy lifestyle and improving the quality of life in general. In particular, the article discusses various methods of exercises and procedures that contribute to the restoration and maintenance of the body's health. The authors draw attention to how these methods can be effective for patients after  various types of injuries, operations or diseases. The study also includes an analysis of innovative approaches to a healthy lifestyle, in particular, in the context of increasing physical activity, achieving optimal motor capacity and psychological well- being. Important aspects and promising areas of further research are the developments of individual programs that help people achieve their goals in maintaining and improving health. This article is a valuable source of information for professionals in the fields of medicine, public health, physical rehabilitation, and sports, as well as anyone interested in healthy living and improving the quality of life in general
