Abstract
The article examines and theoretically analyzes the factors that indicate the need to rebuild the system of physical education in higher education institutions with a focus on the personality, needs, and health of students of higher education, with the use of motivational approaches and incentives. The concept of the content of work, which is defined by the tasks facing educational institutions at a certain stage of their development, as well as the state of educational work and the level of qualification of the pedagogical staff of each specific educational institution and the level of competence of the organizers of the educational process, is interpreted. The main features of fitness technologies in education are determined, which increase the level of traditional physical culture, provide positive emotions, satisfy human needs by strengthening his health, forming a positive and active attitude to a healthy lifestyle, success and prosperity, a modern lifestyle, contribute to the development motility of students, improve physical development and physical training. The article established that the competent and purposeful introduction of fitness technologies into the system of physical culture classes for the health, development and education of currently studying youth is one of the main and urgent tasks of modernizing curricula and work programs of higher education institutions
