Abstract
The article analyses the current problems of education in Switzerland. Based on the study of regulatory materials (national and cantonal levels), scientific research by foreign scholars (U. Bekolli, X. Bueler, U. Fredriksson, B. Getto, A. Gretler, T. Holzer, M. Keim, K. Maag-Merki, J. Zulliger) and generalisation of educational activities of practitioners (N. Boruvka, K. Kirr, R. Stuber) characterise the Swiss education system, highlight the latest trends and contradictions in its development
