Abstract
The article deals with the actual problem of methods of labor training of students in the processing of structural materials. It has been established that the issue of taking into account the psychophysiological features of teaching students to process construction materials in labor training remains understudied until now. It has been proven that the formation of students' abilities and skills in the processing of structural materials are two levels of mastering labor processes and their components. The existence of a number of difficulties in managing the human body with work movements was noted, which complicates their correct formation, requiring multiple exercises to manage their correct execution: the motor effect depends significantly on the condition of the muscles; students need to learn to eliminate all trajectories unnecessary for this movement, which generally exist in the form of six degrees of freedom; performance of labor movements for the processing of structural materials requires certain physical efforts from the students to overcome the resistance of the processed material. The need to conduct trial exercises for the formation of initial, primary skills regarding their implementation on educational blanks has been established, in order to detect deviations from the pattern of action, errors and correct them as soon as possible, preventing the need for retraining
